The cheetah is a large cat that occurs in the southern, north and east Africa. It’s the fastest land animal. Its normally characterized

1.      Slender body.

2.      Deep chest.

3.      Spotted coat.

4.      Small headed.

5.      Head rounded.

6.      Black tear. ( like streaks on the face)

7.      Long thin legs.

8.      Long spotted leg.

They are mostly active during the day. Female cheetah are not territorials, that is , any cheetah can hunt within the same geographical zone.

A full-grown cheetah can grow to a maximum length of 35 inches. Adult male cheetah is a sociable despite their territoriality. The cheetah family hunts mainly on gazelles and antelopes. Cheetah can go up to a maximum speed of 11okm/h. A super speed to any land animal. They are known to be the fastest animal on the land and perhaps the most successful. They are known to work in groups in three ease their work when bringing down the prey. They will stalk their prey within 300meters. Cheetah are known to run for 15 second due to excessive heat produced in their brain . This might kill them but rather they will leave them if the prey is too fast. Due to their speed cheetah were tamed by people and used in hunting. They do have a mass body of 56kg. They mainly hunt the gazelles and impala only a group of cheetah will attempt to hunt a large number of animal to such as the wildbeast.

Cheetah can be tamed by human being and it has happened before . Hunting with cheetah become an economic activity. Although cheetah are poor breeders in captivity, Cheetah nearly all world cheetahs can be found in sub-Saharan African where they roam open grassy Savannah plains and open forest. This animal. This animal hunts mostly during the day to avoid competition from other powerful predators such as lion that hunts during the night.

They use their surrounding before they do any hunting. Cheetah are known to be very brave during hunting, they sprint from covered in a distance knock down their enemy and kill them with a bite on the throat.cheetah are sometimes confused with the leopards but the distinguishing feature is that they have a streak, that is crying eye.its has  several distinct features that include slender body, deep chest, spotted skin with long thin legs .The cheetah have a total of 30 teeth.in the social organization of this animal,they are more territorial and form groups together for life.in most cases, a coalition will comprise of brothers born with the same mother and lactated together.this groups collectively defend there territories .the females are not territorial and live alone with there  offspring .the miles mature and try to find there own territories .the cheetah is a carnivore that prefers middle sized prey upto a maximum of 50 kg.cheetahs ,especially mothers with young cubs are  highly  vigilant and remain on the lookout for large carnivores who might steal the the prey or harm the cubs .cheetahs are the fastest land animal.they have the capacity to reach great speed of 110 km in less than 10 seconds .they can grasp there prey in less than 300m due to there rapid acceleration.the cheetah inhabit a variety of habitats.in african it has been observed in the dry forests scrub forest and savannah.The African cheetah is known to be the fastest and the strongest in the cheetah family.the cheetah is threatened by habitat loss through agricaltural and industrial expansion.
